A visit usually starts with a conversation about what the client wants. A precision haircut includes a detailed consultation and a hot towel finish, and takes 30 to 45 minutes. A separate hair consultation, $100 for about an hour, looks at hair type, growth patterns and face shape, with advice on products and daily upkeep. Barbers aim to remember each client's preferences from one visit to the next and combine traditional barbering technique with modern fade work.
