Each permanent makeup appointment begins with a sketch that the client approves before any work starts, and the area is numbed beforehand. Numbing cream goes on before the procedure and numbing gel is reapplied during it. Sessions run about 2 to 3 hours, depending on the service, how well the skin retains pigment and the area treated. Color is matched to the client's natural hair and begins light, so it can be deepened at the touch-up if needed.

Booking requires a $100 non-refundable retainer that goes toward the balance. At the second session, the retainer is applied as a discount against a $350 session, so the client pays $250 at that visit. One courtesy reschedule is allowed, preferably 48 hours ahead, and a further reschedule forfeits the deposit. Out-of-state and long-distance clients are asked to mention this when booking, and bookings are handled by text through a client consultant and schedule coordinator.

The studio notes that permanent makeup typically lasts 1 to 3 years and that a touch-up is needed about 8 weeks after the first session, with annual refreshers recommended for a defined look. Healing for brows takes about 10 days of scabbing and exfoliation, with the final result visible about 4 weeks after scabbing ends. Eyeliner and lip work have their own healing timelines. Cover-up and correction work is offered on brows, eyeliner and lip tattoos, and the studio says permanent makeup can cover scars once they have healed, asking clients to send a photo of the scar first.
