The studio is set up for clients who are happy to wait for unhurried work, and the business says that people who want a faster appointment should look elsewhere. Rushed services are not offered.

Bookings are sorted into Large, Medium and Small Braid Styles, plus Stitch Braids, Touch Ups and a Men's section. Knotless, tribal and lemonade braids are named styles, and those three are available on Saturdays only. Booking a knotless, tribal or lemonade style on a weekday means the appointment will be moved or cancelled, with no refund. Clients with hair shorter than 3 inches send photos of the front and back of their hair before they book.

Booking requires a $25 deposit. Confirmation email goes out right after booking, and a reminder text arrives three days before the appointment, so the phone number and email entered must be correct. Any add-ons should be chosen at booking rather than on arrival, since adding them on the day holds up other clients scheduled that day. Time slots sometimes run long, and appointments can change at any time without refunds for changes.

Clients get a 5-minute grace period. Arriving 15 minutes late carries a $15 fee, and arriving more than 15 minutes late cancels the appointment. Extra companions and children are not allowed at appointments. The remaining balance is paid by Zelle or cash, and the business does not keep change. The booking site also offers a 5-for-1 package, a products and packages section and a gift code balance check.

Clients who are tender-headed are not a good fit for this braider, so anyone who is should consider that before booking.
