Scalp micropigmentation is a non-surgical service in which pigment is placed as microdots under 1mm, designed to mimic natural hair follicles. It is aimed at thinning hair and moderate to severe baldness, and clients can opt for a closely shaved finish or added density. Most courses run three to four sessions, with the first lasting roughly two to four hours. Because no surgery is involved, there is no cutting, bleeding or bruising. The studio says the scalp generally calms within 12 hours and regains its usual tone in about three days. According to the studio, results can last four to ten years, and touch-ups are advised every four to six years. A separate hair density service uses custom-mixed pigment shades to create the look of fuller hair in thinning areas and bald patches, with several density levels matched to the extent of hair loss.
