The studio was opened in 2019 by Emma Monk, a licensed esthetician who has worked in the field since 2015. Facials are grouped by concern, including acne, aging, dryness, hyperpigmentation, maintenance, rosacea and sensitive skin. First-time clients are steered toward a 60-minute Custom Facial, which includes a basic custom facial and a consultation on which facials would suit them for later visits. Add-ons such as Facial Treatment Extras cover hands, arms, décolleté and scalp, and can include ampoule boosts or a peppermint scalp massage. Dermaplaning removes dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, and microneedling is listed for fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars. Herbs2Peel by Alex Cosmetic is listed for acne, aging and hyperpigmentation.
Waxing covers intimate, facial and body work. Facial waxing includes eyebrow shaping, upper lip and full face, and body waxing covers arms, legs, back and stomach. The salon says it uses high-quality waxes and that the owner developed a signature waxing technique. Facials and waxing are both offered during pregnancy, and the studio welcomes men as clients. It also offers a treatment experience tailored to mature women.
Spray tanning comes in customizable shades, and the salon says its tans are streak-free and made with premium solutions. Brow and lash tinting is offered in a range of colors, and makeup should be removed beforehand. For facials, the salon asks clients to avoid exfoliants for three to five days beforehand and to bring a list of current products. Waxing requires no shaving for at least 14 days and no waxing for at least 21 days before. For tans, skin should be washed and exfoliated 24 hours beforehand, with no lotion on the day.
Appointments are booked through Vagaro, where several services can be added to one time slot and a credit card is held at booking. Only booked appointments are admitted. Schedule changes or cancellations need 24 hours' notice, and late cancellations, no-shows and arrivals more than 15 minutes late carry fees of 50% or 100% of the service charge. Payment is taken after services, by card, debit, cash or Vagaro Pay Later. Retail skincare products and gift cards are sold, and product purchases and consultations are arranged by email.
Facials are customized to each client's skin and use botanical ingredients, according to the salon. The salon says its facials suit every skin type and goal.
