Derma Laser Center was founded in 2002 by Dr. Ayman El-Attar, who practiced surgical oncology for more than a decade before opening the clinic. It has offices in Hamilton Township and Somerset, and says it serves patients from Mercer, Somerset and Bergen Counties.

Most procedures are done in the office under local tumescent anesthesia, without IV sedation, general anesthesia or a hospital stay. A free consultation, offered in person or virtually, covers goals, treatment areas, cost and recovery. Treatment plans are explained in advance with stated pricing, and bundle pricing may apply when several areas are treated in one session. Insurance does not cover these cosmetic procedures, but interest-free payment plans for up to 18 months and CareCredit financing are available.

The liposuction work is built around TOPAL, the clinic's own technique that combines tumescent anesthesia, power-assisted liposuction and laser lipolysis. Power-assisted liposuction uses a vibrating cannula and is commonly used on the abdomen, flanks and thighs. SmartLipo laser energy can be added to loosen fat during removal, and the clinic offers laser liposuction only as an add-on to surgical liposuction. A compression wrap is applied afterward to help with swelling and bruising. The clinic notes that liposuction is used to shape the body rather than as a weight loss method, and that it does not correct significant loose skin on its own.

Eyelid surgery is a major focus. Upper, lower, combined, double eyelid, revisional and male blepharoplasty are all offered, using laser-assisted incisions placed under the skin. These are outpatient procedures under local anesthesia, and most are completed within about an hour. Beyond surgery, the clinic offers Botox and fillers, CO2 laser resurfacing, skin and spider vein laser work, hair restoration, and a range of facials and massage.

Treatment is built around comfort, transparency and safety, with techniques chosen for clinical effectiveness and long-term safety. Each liposuction plan is set after assessing the treatment area, skin quality, fat density and the patient's goals at consultation.
