DÉRA Skin OS was founded by Courtney Nevins on the belief that skin carries a person's stories, heritage and legacy. The practice was created where clinical skin health meets intentional self-care, and it treats the visit as more than a single treatment.

The practice works barrier-first: it first assesses how the skin is functioning, protects the skin barrier, and then addresses the specific concern. Every recommendation takes skin tone, sensitivity and history into account, and care is taken to avoid treatments that can trigger new dark marks. The business describes its care as built on science, compassion and results that last.

Clients usually start with a 45-minute Skin OS Consultation, an in-depth look at the skin barrier, history and goals that ends with a recommended Skin OS and a plan. Those who cannot come in can book a 30-minute guided video session to review their skin and routine from home. Custom Facials run 90 minutes and are built around the client's Skin OS, with products and techniques chosen for that day's skin.

The practice uses six named Skin OS options, each pairing a barrier focus with a secondary goal, from calming and clarity to brightness, hydration, renewal and foundational habits for teens. Partner services are offered through referral to The Boulevard Wellness Center, a Dallas clinical partner. Its providers review health, eligibility and goals, and discuss consent and pricing before any treatment. No result is guaranteed for partner services, and Skin OS services are not a substitute for emergency or specialist medical care.
