The form also covers previous services, recent treatments done at home, haircut needs, natural hair texture and density, and any hair loss or product reactions. Clients are asked to send two current photos of their hair (front and back) and two inspiration photos.
Hair photos should be taken with the hair down and pulled forward, without ponytails or hats, in natural even lighting. Once the photos arrive, the salon reviews them and confirms the plan, timing and pricing. The same consultation form is used for Northlake Color Lab, a second salon that clients can choose to book with instead.
Each booking begins with a written consultation and photo review, so the plan, timing and price are agreed before the appointment.
