Delux Lash

Delux Lash focuses on semi-permanent eyelash extensions.

Three full-set styles are offered. Natural ($150) and Glam ($250) add one extension to each natural lash, with 50 to 70 per eye for Natural and 80 to 110 per eye for Glam. Volume ($300) places several very thin extensions on each natural lash, with 150 to 300 per eye. Refills cost $59 to $100, and touch-ups are suggested every three to four weeks. Lash removal is $30, and clients are advised to have extensions removed by the artist rather than at home.

Extensions are applied by a licensed esthetician whom the business says is professionally trained and certified as an Xtreme Lashes stylist. The studio uses a medical-grade adhesive made for extensions and can switch to a sensitive-skin glue for clients with adhesive allergies or sensitive eyes. Clients are asked to arrive with eye makeup and contacts removed and with clean, dry lids and lashes. Mechanical curlers and oil-based or waterproof mascara are not recommended once extensions are in place.

Booking is by call or text on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The studio is open Wednesday and Friday from 10 am to 7 pm and Saturday from 10:30 am to 3 pm, and is closed Sunday and Monday. Reminders go out by email, call or text before the appointment. Cancellations and reschedules need 24 hours' notice, and a $50 no-show fee applies without that notice. Appointments start and end on time, so late arrivals do not get extra time and pay full price, and arrivals more than 20 minutes late may be rebooked as a cancellation.

Children cannot be accommodated at appointments, so clients need to arrange childcare beforehand. The studio does not take on clients whose Full Set was applied by another salon or individual, but it does offer professional removal for those clients. Booking at least two days ahead is recommended before a special event.

The business describes its extensions as weightless, comfortable and natural-looking, and gives clients a choice of adhesive, including a sensitive-skin glue on request.
