Del Rey Spa is a small studio in Pacific Beach that works on facials, nails, massage and combined spa days. The studio is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am to 7 pm, and is closed on Mondays. Each facial is adjusted to the client's skin, and an esthetician assesses the skin on the day of the visit. The studio combines European skincare methods with modern tools such as microcurrent, microdermabrasion, hydrodermabrasion and LED. Named options include a Classic European Facial with a custom mask, a Hydrating Facial built around a triple clay, hyaluronic and enzyme mask, a Deep Cleansing Facial for congested or acne-prone skin, a Brightening Facial with Vitamin C, and an Anti-Aging Facial, which the studio calls its signature treatment. A teen facial, a men's sport facial and a rosacea and sensitive skin option using the Anna Lotan PRO line are also offered.

Nail services are done dry, without soaking, and without acrylics or acetone. Options run from a natural European manicure to a Men's Dry Manicure, a gel color manicure with a hard-gel overlay, and a hand-painted French tip. The studio says its gel is non-toxic. Sterilized tools are used for nail work.

Bridal planning is a separate strand. Brides, bridesmaids, mothers and grooms can plan skin and nail appointments timed backward from the wedding date. The studio suggests booking a consultation facial about three months before the wedding, and avoiding new peels, products or treatments in the two weeks before the day. A bridal glow facial series is spread over the weeks leading up to the event, and wedding nails are booked one to three days before.

Spa days pair a massage with a facial tailored to the client. The Relax & Glow day lasts roughly two and a half hours. The Deluxe Spa Day lasts about four hours and includes a longer facial, a nutritious snack with a drink, and a 90-minute European dry manicure. According to the studio, the Deluxe Spa Day is its best value.

Each treatment is tailored to the client's skin on the day, combining European methods with newer devices. Treatments are cosmetic and wellness services, not a substitute for medical or dermatological care.

The studio is small and boutique-style, located in Pacific Beach, with Mission Beach, La Jolla and Bay Park within a short distance.
