The salon focuses on the dry e-file manicure, a technique with no water soaking in which cuticles are lifted and refined rather than cut. The salon says the method developed across Eastern Europe, including Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Poland and neighboring countries, and that the name Russian Manicure is the common US name for it. According to the salon, the team has more than a decade of experience with the technique.
Before each Russian Manicure, the technician checks nail health and tells the client if another service or a repair should come first. Gel is placed close to the cuticle line, and the salon expects the grow-out to last three to four weeks.
