The salon was previously called London Hair and Spa. The current owner bought it in 2016, and after a two-year rebrand it became Deco Salon and Spa. The owner, Lindsay, first worked at the location for about ten years before taking over the business.

The salon describes its model as an experience rather than an appointment, which it calls The DECO Difference. It also describes its team as aiming to inspire and empower guests through beauty and community, and as keeping up with new techniques and innovations.

Every visit starts with a consultation, where guests can share concerns, allergies or medical conditions. Stylists talk through the process and products before each service and give pricing and timing estimates on color changes and corrections. Select stylists ask for a 15-minute consultation, in person or by FaceTime, before booking dimensional color, weddings, extensions and project services.

Hair offerings include cuts, color, highlighting, blowouts, updos and in-salon treatments. Brazilian Blowout services use a keratin-based straightening treatment and can be done the same day as a color service with no wait period. Extensions are also offered, with a free consultation on request. Facials are sold under the Deco Signature Facial line in 60-minute and 90-minute versions. Makeup application, waxing, brow tinting and men's services round out the menu.

The salon frames its model as an experience rather than a quick appointment, with a consultation before each service so stylists can explain the process, products, pricing and timing.
