Decarra Salon

Decarra Salon opened in Woodland Hills in 2013 and is run by its owner, Merrilee, who works in hair. Merrilee began as an assistant to stylist Joseph Furie, then moved to the salon of Allen Edwards, where she gained experience handling a busy book. She opened Decarra after Allen Edwards closed his own salon.

The salon has a team of hair stylists, a licensed esthetician and an owner who focuses on each client's individual hair. Stylists are trained within the salon, starting as assistants and moving up through an assistant program before styling on their own.

Hair services include cutting, coloring, blow-dries, conditioning treatments, highlights, balayage and keratin treatments. Karen Sefer offers brow and facial waxing, special event and bridal makeup, makeup lessons, and brow and lash tinting, plus individual or strip eyelashes. Makeup services are available in the salon, and bridal or photography makeup can be quoted for off-site work by phone.

Bookings are made by calling 818-703-3697. The salon is closed Sunday and Monday, open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 8AM to 5PM, and open Thursday from 8AM to 7PM. According to the salon, its work is aimed at the highest standard of quality.
