The salon's approach favours restraint. It is against over-processing and over-styling, and aims for results that are simple to maintain. Cuts are finished with the client's natural texture in mind: straight hair is not curled and curly hair is not straightened. Blow-drying, diffusing or heat processing is chosen according to hair texture, and the salon does not use round brushes, hot rollers, curling irons or heavy hairsprays.
Colour touch ups apply permanent or demi-permanent colour to regrowth only, while all over colour covers from regrowth to ends. Highlights and lowlights are offered as partial, half head or full head, and can be paired with a colour touch up. Bleach and tone is available, and corrective and creative colour are planned during a consultation and priced that way. Before colour, highlights or bleach, a customized detox pre-treatment neutralizes metals in the hair and includes a post-treatment mask.
Cuts are built around a Cut & Finish appointment, which includes a consultation, a cleansing treatment, conditioner and finishing details. Finishing services cover blow-dries, flat ironing, a combined blow-dry and flat iron, up-styles and an after colour finish. The after colour service starts with a first shampoo that locks in conditioning and stops oxidation left after colouring, followed by a customized shampoo and conditioner. Finishing is reserved for regular haircut clients.

The salon is open Tuesday to Saturday with late evening hours on Wednesday, and is closed Sunday and Monday. Street parking surrounds the building and is free before 10am; the Park it on Market garage is three blocks east, and the Horton Campus garage is one block north when entered from 3rd Street.
The salon works against over-processing and over-styling, keeping cuts and styles true to each client's natural hair texture and easy to maintain.
