Each visit begins with planning. New clients book a consultation with Roz before any service, and the consultation is a 30-minute session that reviews the hair and scalp and sets a care plan. Loc clients get a separate loc consultation that includes a starting plan. Consultations are paid in full at booking and are non-refundable.

The setting is calm, and appointment times are scheduled carefully so clients have room to relax. Services that include a wash often add a scalp massage with an aroma therapy cleanse, and many services are timed in half-hour steps so the appointment matches the work. Hair should be detangled before a Tress Care visit, or detangling can be added if time allows.
