The surgical menu is grouped into facial, head and neck, eye and hair restoration procedures, and includes a set of operations designed specifically for men. Facial options include the deep plane and mid-facelift approaches, lip lift, facial fat transfer, buccal fat removal and rhinoplasty. The mid-facelift is done with a small endoscopic camera and incisions hidden in the hairline. Deep plane facelifts are performed under IV sedation rather than general anesthesia. Patients who smoke are asked to quit several weeks beforehand, and recovery planning includes about two weeks of social downtime, sleeping with the head elevated and following a low-sodium diet. The practice says deep plane facelift results often last ten years or longer before a touch-up may be needed.
