David Ryan Salon

David Ryan Salon was established in 1991 in Hell's Kitchen. It began with five stylists and now has eleven, and it has been part of the neighborhood for more than twenty years. Maria Lanza and her husband Giuseppe have owned the salon since 2000.

The client base includes actors, dancers and other entertainers from theater and television. The salon is a few steps from Times Square, and it describes the space as hip and comfortable. Its stated mission is high-quality service with professionalism for every guest.

Stylists work with each client's overall vision, from the first consultation through to the finished look. Liz German and Markell Yushuvayev also emphasize learning what a client wants and what their hair needs, along with honest communication.
