Every visit starts with a consultation that reviews goals, anatomy, health history, options, risks, recovery and expected outcome. The practice recommends surgical or non-surgical options based on each patient's needs and does not push every patient toward surgery. The surgeon decides candidacy and the type of sedation based on medical history and the procedure. Conscious sedation, given orally, inhaled or by IV, is available, and breast augmentation and liposuction can be done this way. General anesthesia is also offered for more extensive work such as a tummy tuck; it is given by a board-certified anesthesiologist and involves a breathing tube and vital sign monitoring.

Payment can be made by credit card or cash, and the practice works with several medical financing companies: PatientFi, Cherry, Alphaeon Credit, CareCredit and Prosper Healthcare Lending. Prosper loans are available for up to $35,000 with monthly plans that include a 60-month term. Alphaeon offers monthly plans from six to 60 months and provides a payment table for estimates.
