Darval Beauty is run by owner Isabel Darval, who handles the nail work herself. The salon is at 16130 Kokanee Rd in Apple Valley and is open on weekends: Saturdays 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM and Sundays 7 AM to 2:30 PM, with Monday through Friday closed.

The menu covers sculpted gel manicures from $55, about 90 minutes long, along with acrylic fills and full acrylic sets from $55 and $65. Gel-X full sets from $65 are also offered in four options. Gel-X is a full-cover tip that bonds to the natural nail and needs no fills, and each set is new with soak-off included. Acrylic full sets run 120 minutes or more, and their price depends on length, ombre, French style and encapsulation.

Pedicures start at $60 and take 85 minutes or more, with four options; each one includes a gel color, and art is charged separately. Freestyle sets are a fixed $165 or more, take 180 minutes or more, and let the owner choose the length and style.

Nail art is sold in tiers. Tier 1 covers simple designs such as polka dots and stripes for $25. Tier 2 covers intermediate designs such as characters and floral motifs, starting at $45. Simple full-hand art costs under $25, and intermediate art that runs over an hour adds 60 cents per minute. Add-ons start at $5 with 14 options for full hands; for just a few fingers with design, the price is adjusted at checkout. Pricing crystals start at $1 with six options and do not include a complete set.

New clients pay a 25% deposit at booking, which is non-refundable and applied to the final total. Cancellations and reschedules need at least 48 hours' notice. Late cancellations, same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged 50% of the scheduled service total for each service booked. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may lead to the service being shortened, adjusted or rescheduled. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may require a deposit for future visits or prevent future bookings. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Gift cards are sold online in $50, $85, $100 and $200 amounts or custom amounts, and gift card sales are final.
