DaniLi Sugar & Spa is at 6 Hartner Ave. in Somerdale. It opened in February 2021 in a single room inside a hair salon. The current salon opened in April 2025, after construction started in December 2024, and the business hired its first employee in July 2025.

Sugaring is the service the business is built on. It removes hair from the root with a paste made from sugar, lemon and water, applied at body temperature so that, according to its FAQ, it sticks only to hair and dead skin cells. It can be done on most of the body, including brows, face, underarms, arms and legs, bikini and Brazilian areas, and the back and chest. The business calls sugaring its true specialty and says it has been pioneering Brazilian sugaring in South Jersey since 2021.

Beyond sugaring, the salon offers waxing for a range of areas including brows and Brazilians, and brow services that use sugaring, waxing or tweezing, chosen for skin type, hair texture and the shape a client wants. Permanent jewelry is custom-fitted and welded closed for a clasp-free finish, made to be worn all the time. The Intimate Glow Treatment is a skin-focused service for ingrown hairs, irritation and uneven skin tone, available as an add-on or on its own. Custom spray tanning is matched to each client's skin tone and the result they want.

Before a sugaring appointment, clients are asked to let hair grow to about the length of a grain of rice or a pinky nail, and first-timers are advised to wait at least 10 days, ideally 14. On the day, lotions, oils and deodorants should be avoided on the treated area. For 24 hours afterward, heat such as hot baths, saunas and intense exercise is best skipped. Clients who are on their period can still book a Brazilian and are asked to wear a tampon or menstrual cup. Appointments can be booked online, and payment is accepted by credit or debit card, cash, Venmo or CashApp.
