Danikka's Planet Glam is an independent salon in Elgin, owned by Danikka Preradovic, a licensed cosmetologist. The menu covers hair only: haircuts and beard trims, color from toners and glosses through full head foils, balayage, bleach retouches, blowouts, and scalp and bonding treatments.

Hours are set by day. Monday and Tuesday run from 3 to 8 PM, Wednesday and Thursday are closed, Friday and Sunday run from 11 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday runs from 11 AM to 8 PM.

New clients can book a free 30-minute consultation to talk through cuts, color or other hair questions, and a strand test can be done during it if needed. Some services need a consultation before booking: all-over color for new clients, vivid color (done in person), and balayage and corrective color, which are priced after a consult.

Deposits range from $10 to $150 depending on the service, and a 50% cancellation fee applies to cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval required before the appointment. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 and $200 amounts or a custom amount, and gift card sales are final. Haircuts are not priced by gender.
