Dallas Hair Club

Dallas Hair Club is operated by Dallas Hair Club LLC and was founded by Savannah Barker. The salon describes itself as a new kind of salon community, built around independent hairdressers who lead their own businesses rather than working as employees of a single brand.

Appointments are the way in. Each hairdresser manages their own schedule, so availability differs through the week, and clients book directly with the stylist they choose through that stylist's profile. Clients who are unsure who suits them can submit a new-client request describing their hair, goals and budget, and the salon recommends a stylist. Stylists then talk through pricing and availability with new clients by their preferred contact method before a booking is confirmed.

The team covers color from fundamental work to luxury blonding, dimensional brunette color and lived-in looks, along with men's and women's cuts, razor work, clipper cutting, blowouts and styling, loc artistry and extensions. The salon also runs an assistant program for people new to the industry. Assistants receive hourly pay plus commission on their services and keep all of their tips, with training, mentorship and business check-ins along the way and the chance to take their own clients once they are ready.

Built on the idea of individuality, connection and care, with each stylist working independently under a chair rental model.

Locally crafted candles, artwork by Texas creatives and cups by Marcello Andres give the space a personal, local feel.
