The studio has a relaxed, earthy feel, with soft lounge-style music playing during visits. There is a Shampoo Lounge for cleansing and treatments. First-time color guests and anyone booking a chemical service need a consultation, which can be done in person or by video chat. Clients can text a recent photo and inspiration pictures when requesting an appointment.

Haircut prices depend on length and time, and DA Hair Cuts pricing also varies by texture, length and density. Color is calibrated to each client, with an extra color fee based on length and density, and overgrown roots carry that fee as well. Bleach and tone is priced after consultation, and foil work is an additional charge. The consultation itself costs $25, takes about 20 minutes, and is not included in any service.

Booking policies: cancellations need 24 hours notice, a same-day cancellation fee of $50 applies, and a no-show fee of 50 percent of services is charged. Clients arriving 15 or more minutes late may need to reschedule and may pay a late fee. A $100 deposit is required for appointments over $200. Children are not allowed without an appointment, and only service dogs are permitted.
