D.S. Hair & Scalp Wellness

The practice was founded by Denise Seibert, a clinical trichologist, and it works with women and men dealing with hair loss, thinning, shedding or scalp concerns. It has a studio at 564 Baltimore Pike in Bel Air and a studio at 1409 Research Boulevard in Rockville, which is listed as Bethesda-Rockville. Studio hours run Tuesday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, and every visit is booked in advance.

A visit usually starts with a conversation about what the client has noticed and what they hope to improve. The assessment then looks at the hair and scalp, medical history, daily routines, lifestyle and goals, and can include guidance from the client's own healthcare provider. Recommendations come after education and are based on that consultation. The practice is clear about its limits: diagnosis and medical treatment stay with the appropriate licensed provider, and its services do not replace medical evaluation.

Scalp services include three D.S. treatments. The D.S. Advanced Hair Growth Hair Loss and Follicle Support Therapy is a non-surgical trichology option that the business calls its most advanced, blending several methods and ingredients. The D.S. HydroScalp Renewal Therapy uses a HydroScalp device to cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize the scalp and to remove residue from follicle openings. The D.S. Signature Scalp Mask Exfoliating Treatment rounds out the menu. First-time scalp therapy clients book a 15-minute consultation, and an extra fee applies. Before the appointment, clients are asked to report any pregnancy, allergies, high blood pressure, recent head injury or surgery, or scalp irritation. According to the business, individual experiences and results differ.

The Hair Solutions group covers hair extensions; hair replacement, including cranial prostheses, private wigs, customized replacement and alternative hair consultations; and Healthy Hair plus Private Styling, which includes the Organic Silk Press, cuts, color, conditioning, hydration, smoothing and personalized styling. Clients who have had hair-restoration procedures can also receive scalp wellness support once medical clearance is in place. Eligible services can be split into monthly payments through Cherry financing, which uses a soft credit check, and Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000 with approval before the appointment. Dermatologists, women's health clinicians, nutrition specialists, hair-restoration clinics, medical weight-loss teams, aesthetic and wellness practitioners, and post-transplant support teams are all invited to send clients to the studio. Professionals may refer a client straight away or reach out to the studio first to talk through whether the fit is right. The studio shares updates only when the client has given authorization.
