Visits are by appointment only. A consultation is free, and foil and balayage color quotes are given in person, with bridal pricing reviewed at that meeting. A virtual consultation costs $50 and is applied toward the service. Booking requires a credit or debit card on file. Prices vary with hair length, density and the products used, and the listed prices are starting points. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice incur a fee: $25 for haircuts, and a minimum of $50 for color services or more depending on the service, with color appointments cancelled without notice charged half the color service.

Balayage is a freehand technique that blends color into a soft, diffused root so regrowth is less obvious. It can be done as ombre, dimensional or all over, or used as a lightened base for vivid colors. Color correction is billed at $115 per hour and is usually estimated at three to five hours, covering changes of up to three levels darker or lighter as well as new color or vivids. Bridal practice before the wedding is recommended, and on-site wedding hair is quoted by email based on availability.

According to the salon, it has taken several local honors. It won the Seattle Award for Hair Salon in 2014 and again in 2019. In 2019 it also received a Washington Advance Excellence Award presented by the Association of Washington Business. In 2018, Yocale.com's Community Choice Award in Seattle recognized it for hair extensions, according to the salon.

The studio builds each appointment around the client's needs and wishes, weighing form and function together so the result suits how the client wants to wear their hair.
