Families can submit a contact form describing their child's needs before visiting. The salon is a quiet space with soft lighting and noise-reducing features, adaptable chairs, and a child may sit on a parent's lap if that helps. Distraction tools such as tablets and fidget toys are available, and breaks are taken as needed, with no rush on the cut.
Appointments are required. The salon is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00am to 5:30pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 4:00pm, and it is closed Monday, Thursday and Sunday. Hours may change, so families are asked to call (860) 808-6967 to confirm before booking.
Sessions are built around each child, with extra time, patience and techniques designed to reduce sensory overload.
