CUTS.byAndrew is a haircut studio at 1216 Broadway, suite 412, inside the NomadWorks building in New York's NoMad neighborhood. The entrance is on 30th Street, just east of Broadway, and the studio is reached by elevator to the fourth floor. Copper Mug Coffee is in the building's lobby. A second location is at Ludlow Blunt in Brooklyn.

The business is run by Andrew, the owner and cutter, who learned to cut without attending barber or beauty school, by cutting individual clients and testing methods on them. The menu covers children's cuts, short and cropped cuts, long hair cuts, and cuts for extra long, extra thick, coarse or curly hair, along with dry, wet, scissor, razor, clipper and curly cutting.

Every cut includes a cleanse and styling. Cuts are made with the hair in its natural state, so they can be worn wet or dry without complicated styling. A minimal, clean styling product may be suggested, and a simple cleansing and styling routine is set up for each cut. The salon says its cuts hold their shape for a month or more.

Booking requires a credit card, which is not charged until the service is complete. Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled through the booking app up to 24 hours ahead without a fee. Later cancellations and no-shows are charged half the appointment rate. At the NYC studio the price is all-inclusive and tipping is not expected; at the Brooklyn location, traditional salon and barbershop tipping customs apply.

Cuts are made with the hair in its natural state, so they work wet or dry and need little styling. Each one is shaped to suit the individual client.
