About

The salon describes itself as a calm space where hair, color, and curls are given close attention, and it describes its service style as quiet luxury. Its focus is curls, coils, and afros, and exploring natural textures.

Color sessions can run long. Light tangles are worked out during the session, and the salon does not note an extra charge for them. Clients who want a private, unhurried appointment with a personal consultation will find the setup suited to that.

Booking is split into paths for new clients, returning clients, and package holders. Walk-ins are not accepted. Clients are asked to arrive with hair free of braids, extensions, and protective styles, lightly cleansed and washed within 48 hours of the appointment, and without heavy styling products. Strong fragrances and perfumes are asked to stay home. Quiet hours run from 9AM to 12PM, with devices set to silent. Rescheduling needs at least 48 hours notice, and late arrivals are asked to let the salon know as soon as possible.

Amenities include a private, intimate atmosphere, personalized consultations, complimentary refreshments, comfortable seating, and a curated selection of retail hair products. Parking is limited to a few spaces directly outside the salon, with street parking along Dragon St. and gallery parking lots open to clients after business hours.

Beyond appointments, the salon runs the Dojo, a separate events space for intimate immersions, high frequency activations, and neo socials. Its offerings include yoga, meditation, pilates, deep listening sessions, ritual arts, and society-based events, and each requires an RSVP. Monthly event listings are posted on a Linktree page. The salon also hosts the Observatory, a three-hour session for colorists focused on color, consultation, creativity, business, and confidence. It has no product presentations, step-by-step formulas, or slides.

The salon views beauty as an experience, a ritual, and a form of self-care and self-expression. It says it celebrates diversity and welcomes clients with different perspectives and backgrounds.
