Dreadlock extensions are made to order in the chosen color, thickness and length. They can be made from merino wool, Kanekalon synthetic fiber or human hair. Kanekalon has a shinier finish and comes in about 70 colors, while human hair dries faster than wool and weighs less. The extensions are attached semi-permanently to natural hair with a cable stitch or another braid, without glue, resin or wax. Care instructions for wool dreadlocks and natural hair are provided, with advice on washing gently to avoid damage.
