The studio works with wavy, curly and coily hair. Each curly cut is customized and comes with education on caring for curls at home. Separate services cover long to extra long hair, short to mid-back length, and very dense hair, which the studio defines as hair where the scalp can't be seen when parted, whatever the curl type; dense hair gets extra appointment time. Curly cuts start at $220, and a trim costs the same as a full haircut.

Color and highlighting are offered only to existing clients. The work uses hand painting of individual curls for depth and dimension, and the approach is conservative, aimed at protecting hair health, strength and integrity. The wash and go service, for very tight curls, includes a consultation, wash, treatment and style. Discover Your Curls is a styling lesson without a haircut that covers washing through finishing and product application. Color services start at $240 and are billed at $120 per hour with a two-hour minimum.

Booking runs on a monthly cycle: appointments open one month at a time at the start of the month for the following month, and a waitlist is available once everything is booked. A credit card holds each appointment. Clients should arrive with hair completely dry, down and in its natural pattern, with minimal product and no pre-styling such as ponytails, braids, brushing or straightening. Cancellations or changes need 48 hours notice, and later changes carry a $100 non-refundable charge. Arriving more than 20 minutes late can lead to cancellation. Services are for clients 16 and older, with occasional exceptions, and children, friends and pets are not permitted. Anyone who is unwell or has someone sick at home should reschedule. The studio also publishes a blog on curly hair care.
