About

Curio Injectable Boutique offers its treatments from a suite at 3040 N. 117th St. in Wauwatosa. The practice lists a separate corporate office in Brookfield on its privacy page. Nurse Elyce, the owner and a nurse injector, leads the practice alongside nurse practitioners Michele Duda and Tory.

Injectable services include dermal fillers, which start at $700. The practice describes them as FDA-approved hyaluronic acid gels used to restore facial volume, and says the results are immediate and can last six to twelve or more months. Treatment areas include the cheeks, lips, chin, chin shadow, jawline, ear lobes, nasolabial folds and hands. Dysport and Botox are also offered. Biostimulators include Sculptra, which uses PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid) to stimulate collagen and elastin and starts at $750, with three treatments recommended for most people. PRF, or platelet-rich fibrin, is made by spinning a sample of the client's own blood to isolate the fibrin. It starts at $450 and can be injected into the undereye area or applied with microneedling. A series of three, about a month apart, is typically recommended for PRF.

Microneedling is done with SkinPen and starts at $350. The practice calls SkinPen the only FDA-cleared microneedling device that boosts collagen. A series of three sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart, is recommended for the best results. SkinPen can treat the face, neck, décolletage, hands, knees and stretch marks. Add-ons paired with microneedling include the AnteAge Brightening Kit for $75, PRF Topical for $125, and PRF Undereye and Topical for $200. Celluma LED light therapy is listed separately, along with a Celluma membership; the site does not list prices for these.

Nurse Elyce explains aftercare for each treatment after the appointment. Clients can book online or by phone at (414) 207-9150, and can cancel or reschedule by text, phone or email. Changes made with less than 24 hours' notice carry a $50 fee, and a no-show carries a $100 fee or forfeiture of any deposit. Clients who have recently been ill, had a cold sore, taken antibiotics or had a vaccination within the past two weeks are asked to reschedule. The practice is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 AM to 6 PM and Friday from 10 AM to 3 PM, and is closed Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The privacy policy states that personal information is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
