Visits typically begin with a consultation. New clients book a longer microloc consultation, while people moving over from another loctician book a shorter transfer consultation, which is required before a retie. From there, the menu covers starter locs as comb coils or two-strand traditional starts, Insta-locs using the crotchet method, wick and crotchet maintenance, six-to-eight-week microloc reties, and repairs and reconstruction. Loc extensions are available as premade installs or custom-made sets.

Shampoo, retwist and style appointments, shampoo-only and style-only visits, and an apple cider vinegar detox treatment round out the menu. Traveling services and house calls bring the work to the client, and travel fees are paid at booking. Clients can send questions through a contact form addressed to Rachel Johnson. Most services require a $20 deposit and extension installs require $200; cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours of the appointment are charged the full fee.
