Crystal Hogue took her first client in January 2001 and now operates Crystal's Hair Studio from two Phoenix addresses. The main studio is inside Salon Denmark on North 7th Street, and the second location is on East Northern Avenue.

The studio describes itself as a dimensional color specialist, and color makes up the largest group of services. Options run from toners and glazes to root smudges, balayage, ombre, double process and corrective color. Prices start at $15 for a toner, $48 for a color retouch and $58 for dimensional color. Highlights range from a mini set to a full set, and the haircut menu includes clipper cuts, standard cuts and trichology cuts, alongside blowdry and formal styling.

Visits are by appointment only. The North 7th Street studio is open Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 6pm, Friday from 10am to 2pm, and Saturday from 9am to 4pm. The Northern Avenue location is open Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 6pm, Friday from 10am to 2pm, and Saturday from 9am to 4pm, and it takes appointments only on Tuesdays.
