Whole body cryotherapy exposes clients to temperatures between about -200°F and -256°F, offered as an alternative to ice packs and ice baths. The Marina del Rey site gives a chamber temperature of about -240°F using liquid nitrogen, and says clients do not come into direct contact with gaseous nitrogen. The business notes that whole body cryotherapy was first used in Japan in 1978, and that a rehabilitation center in Spala, Poland, opened in 2000 and has been used for athlete training and rehabilitation. The site presents the treatment as something that supplements health and wellness programs and does not treat medical diseases, disorders or illness. LED/NIR red light sessions use 633 nm and 850 nm wavelengths over about 15 minutes. Pulse PEMF and BEMER sessions, BOA compression therapy and Clearlight infrared saunas are also available, and the business features and distributes cryosaunas.
Physician-supervised care includes high-dose vitamin C IVs, Myers Cocktail and glutathione IVs, and vitamin injections such as B12, Lipo-B, NAD+ and an immunity booster. The medical weight management program combines medication, supplements, injections, dietary changes and physical exercise, and the site describes it as scientifically proven and aimed at cardiovascular health, insulin resistance and food cravings. Marina del Rey offers after-hours appointments, and Woodland Hills offers after-hours T-Shock and T-Shape treatments by appointment only. Free parking is available at each site, in the back at Los Angeles and in front at the other two. Virtual appointments are available.
