Appointments are booked by the hour, and each client gets undivided attention from their stylist for the whole session. New clients can book The Crown Experience, about two and a half hours, which begins with a consultation, scalp analysis and detox, then a steam hydration treatment, education on products and styling, and a custom cut and style. Returning clients can choose a one, two, three or four hour experience, The Crown Reset at about an hour and a half, or a 30-minute add-on, depending on what the hair needs. Color work starts with a consultation before any major color service. A 30-minute Color/Extension Consultation is also offered, with its cost applied to the next extensions booking and a detox shampoo valued at $40 included. Children are welcome, with cuts for ages 6 and under and ages 6 to 9; some children's visits may not include a full dry or style, depending on the child's comfort.
Tipping is not expected, since products, treatments and gratuities are included in the session price. A five-day adjustment period follows a cut at no extra cost. The salon says its pricing is transparent and that it works differently from traditional salons. It is open Tuesday through Saturday and closed Sunday and Monday.
Sessions are booked by the hour with one-on-one attention, guided by a mission of inclusion and eco-conscious practice.
