Covered Nail Bar opened in 2008 with the aim of giving clients more control over the quality of their nail care. The salon describes itself as a different kind of nail salon.
A manicure covers polish removal, cuticle care, nail trimming and shaping, a sugar hand scrub, a hand and arm massage with body butter, buffing or regular polish, and cuticle oil. The gel version swaps in gel polish removal and gel polish while keeping the rest of the routine.
A pedicure begins with a detoxifying soak and adds callus filing, a foot and calf scrub, a foot and calf massage, and the same polish and cuticle steps. Services are tailored to each client's needs, and the salon focuses on nail care for elderly, diabetic and wheelchair-bound clients.
Every service uses the reCover Collection, the salon's all-natural line for hands, body and feet. The line is sold in the salon and online. Healing House of Päsh Petals operates inside the salon, and appointments are recommended.
Two monthly memberships are offered. Covered Club is $100 a month and includes one manicure and one pedicure each month. Pampered Club is $140 a month and includes two manicures and one pedicure each month. Both include 10% off service upgrades, 10% off retail and a welcome gift.
Services are customized to each client's needs, using all-natural products throughout.
