CŌVE SALON & SPA STUDIOS

CŌVE describes itself as a small-scale collective of high-end beauty professionals. It is owned by a mother and daughter, Madison and Amy, and aims to help independent beauty professionals grow their own businesses. Each tenant leases a private suite, so the business works more like a shared home base for individual practices than a conventional salon with staff.

Each suite is fully enclosed and soundproofed. The building offers 24/7 access and security, a washer and dryer on site, and a basic furniture package, or tenants can bring their own furniture. Wifi, utilities and maintenance are included in suite rent, and tenants are encouraged to customize their studio.

The business terms are a large part of its pitch. There are no commission splits, so tenants keep all of their profits, and they set their own hours, services and rates. Leases are flexible, tenants receive one week of rent-free vacation each year, and an optional maternity leave program is available.

The suites sit on the second floor of a plaza in the northwest part of Cape Coral, beside the elevator and staircase. The plaza shares space with House of Omelets, Bonefish, Dantes Coal-Fired Pizza and Leslies Pool Supply, has ample parking for professionals and clients, and is marked by large building signage and a pylon sign visible from Pine Island Road.
