The studio works one-on-one. Each client keeps the same stylist from start to finish of an appointment rather than being passed along partway through, and visits are kept unhurried instead of moving from chair to chair.
Every visit starts with a free consultation of about 30 minutes, held in person or by video. A consultation is required before blonding, extension work or any correction service, while cuts and gloss services can be booked without one. Prices listed as starting amounts depend on hair density, length and previous services, and an exact quote is given at the consultation before any product goes on.
Color work ranges from all-over color and root melts with a customized toner to root coverage and color correction, which is booked at an hourly rate after a consultation. Work done elsewhere, including box dye, banding, brass and a previous colorist's results, can usually be corrected; clients are asked to bring photos and to disclose any box dye or henna.
Extensions include hand-tied and tape-in installs, weft and K-tip options, and maintenance visits recommended every 6 to 8 weeks. Brazilian Blowouts are offered with complimentary shampoo and conditioner. Clients hold their appointment with a card kept on file, and are asked to give at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel, with a fee possible for late cancellations or no-shows. Walk-ins are not typically accepted, and last-minute openings are posted on Instagram stories. Deco Dana scarves and clips are listed as coming soon with a waitlist, and stylist education classes are planned with dates to be announced.
Each appointment is handled by one stylist from start to finish, and every visit begins with a real consultation before any work is quoted or started.
