Colour Theory Beauty is a natural hair studio on the fourth floor of Lacuna Lofts in Pilsen. The studio was founded by Daria V. Wright and combines haircare education with hair and makeup work. Its stated aim is to simplify wash day so clients feel comfortable wearing their natural hair.

A first visit starts with an intake form covering goals, current challenges and how the client wants to feel when they leave. Education and a relaxing service are combined in the appointment, followed by personalized aftercare resources and a detailed summary of products.

Curly cuts are shaped on curly hair after the curls have been set and dried. The studio uses its hydrate and define method to set each client's curl pattern before the cut. Color services require a consultation first, with the exception of natural-looking dark brown gray coverage.

The studio is on the fourth floor of Lacuna Lofts, reached from the north entrance in the parking lot. Clients use the code in their two-hour appointment reminder text and take the C-Wing elevator up. CTA buses 21, 60 and 18 serve the area. The lot is run by Metropolis, so parking is paid by QR code before leaving, and unpaid parking can lead to a mailed fine.

Education comes first: first visits pair haircare instruction with a relaxing service and personalized aftercare, and services are built around each client's curl pattern.
