The company describes its express color as the fastest hair coloring process available and says it offers more color formulations than competitors. The core of the salon is a five-step express service: a consultation, professional application, a 10-minute processing time, an express shampoo and rinse, and an optional blow dry. Color is mixed by EMMA, the salon's own system, which dispenses a custom formula once the colorist enters the desired shade.
A free 10-minute in-salon consultation helps clients choose a service. New clients can start with a first visit for $30, which the salon says is refundable if the client is not happy with the result. Monthly memberships are offered at two tiers: a basic plan with one root touch-up a month and an unlimited plan, both with member pricing on other services. The salon compares its $40 basic membership with a typical salon root touch-up at about $120 a month.
After color, clients can use a complimentary dry bar with hair dryers and brushes and bring their own styling products. The salon does not offer perms or chemical straightening. It welcomes walk-ins but suggests booking for a preferred time. The salon cannot service all blonde hair, and its color does not lift to reach high-lift blonde, so clients who are unsure can book a virtual or in-person consult first.
ColorOnly also manufactures the professional color used in the salon and sells an at-home color line directly to consumers with free shipping. The company is seeking licensed partners to open locations beyond the Coral Springs salon.
