Visits begin with a consultation. New guests can book a free 15-minute consultation to talk through hair goals, the routine they can realistically keep up, and a personalized plan before booking. Guests booking an Ultimate Blonding service must first complete a free 20-minute Ultimate Blonding consultation. For regular color appointments, the stylist and guest decide at the start of the visit which technique fits the goal.

Color services are built around the guest. Custom color can combine balayage, teasylights, money pieces, color blocking and color melts. A partial custom color suits balayage refreshes, sun-kissed brightness, face-framing money pieces and targeted blocking, while a full custom color is for a complete balayage change or a noticeable shift in overall color. Maintenance options include root color refreshes, highlight root refreshes and ultimate blonding refreshes for existing blonde clients.

Haircuts range from a 15-minute bang trim and a quick dry-cut shape-up to a customized cut with wash and blow-dry finish, and short cropped styles done with clippers or scissors. A style add-on can finish a blow-dry with curls, waves or a flat iron.

Booking is handled online. Clients check in on the iPad at the entrance of Clash Beauty Collective, and the stylist comes down to the lobby to meet them. The studio is open Thursday from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Cancellations or reschedules need at least 24 to 48 hours notice. Guests expecting to arrive more than 15 minutes late may need services shortened or the appointment moved. Concerns about a result should be raised within 48 hours, and a complimentary adjustment may be arranged if appropriate. Services are not refundable. Guests who are unwell are asked to let the studio know as early as possible so a new time can be found.

Each color and cut is tailored to the guest, with the aim of a look that is realistic to maintain between appointments.
