Colonics by Jacquelyn is run by Jacquelyn Darling, who has performed gravity-centered colonics since June 2003 and has given over 4,000 colonics to clients from 6 to 90 years old. Appointments are booked by phone at 914-930-9022.
Colonic sessions use the Woods Gravitational Method, which was designed in the 1930s by naturopathic physician Dr. Robert Wood. In the gravity-centered version, water is taken in and released at the same time. Abdominal and energy-transfer massage is part of the treatment, and clients are guided through a transitional diet before and after. The business describes its results as strong without being harsh.
Beyond colonics, the menu includes a 35-minute ionic footbath for $55, which the business presents as a natural health device that supports the body's own balance, and a colonic and footbath special at $200 for two hours. Color therapy and meditation sessions are $100, with a 45-minute chakra balancing version. Energy work includes a one-hour Access Bars session and a one-hour Angel Reiki session, both $150. Angel card readings are offered by request, with donations accepted and no set charge.
Colonic appointments during normal hours, 9am to 5pm Monday through Saturday, cost $175 for 75 minutes. Sessions before 9am or after 6pm cost $200 and are available on request. The first appointment starts at 9am and the last begins at 3:30pm during normal hours. The business is open seven days a week by appointment. Cancellations or changes need at least 24 hours' notice by phone, text or email. Payment is accepted by cash, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay and PayPal, but not credit cards. Colonics are offered to children from age 6, with a parent required to stay in the room and the child agreeing to the session. Clients with listed contraindications, such as pregnancy or a recent heart attack, may only be treated with a written prescription from an MD or ND.
Colonic care is paired with abdominal and energy-transfer massage and a transitional diet before and after each treatment.
