Coilz is a salon focused on braiding, located at 696 Concord Road SE in Smyrna, inside Vidni Salon Suites. It is open Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM and closed on Sundays.

According to the salon, its braiding aims to highlight natural hair while looking after its health. Braiding hair and curls are part of every service. Goddess braids include Organique Breezy or Body Wave curls by default. The ends are secured with adhesive applied 1 to 2 inches past the point where your natural hair ends, so the adhesive never makes contact with it.

Every appointment must be booked in advance with an $80 non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance paid at the time of service. Silk press requires a $40 deposit, and mini braids and own-hair stitch braid Fulani require $50. Hair should be clean, detangled and free of heavy oils or products unless the stylist says otherwise, and at least 4 inches long. If hair is not properly prepped, the appointment may be rescheduled or canceled with a $60 fee. Extra guests are not allowed unless approved beforehand.

Scheduling asks for 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. The deposit covers one complimentary reschedule; a second one requires a new deposit. Arrivals get a 10 to 15 minute grace period, a $20 late fee applies after 15 minutes, and an appointment missed by 30 minutes is canceled or rescheduled with a 20% no-show fee. Missing an appointment without calling also carries a 20% fee before you can book again. Clients who need an earlier date can message the salon to check stock, and human hair color blends need at least 14 days' notice. Concerns should be emailed within 24 to 48 hours, and completed services are not refunded.

Braiding is meant to enhance natural hair while keeping it healthy, with appointments planned in advance and clear prep and booking rules.
