Shoppers can browse without an appointment. The shop sells synthetic wigs (it does not carry human hair wigs), beauty and cosmetics, theatrical makeup including Kryolan foundation, skincare, nail products, fragrance, sparkle jewelry, sunglasses, headwear, hosiery, costume pieces, gifts and vintage party clothes.
Private wig parties take place at the shop for bachelorettes, birthdays, divorce parties, family reunions and chemo solidarity. They run two to three hours depending on headcount and cost $100 per guest. Each guest takes home a wig of their choice and gets a mini makeover of lips and lids from the shop's makeup artists, with unlimited photos at the selfie station. Guests can bring their own refreshments and playlist, and the shop has a vintage buffet and bar cabinet for light refreshments. Parties are scheduled before opening or after closing, with a minimum of five guests Sunday through Thursday and six on Friday and Saturday. Smaller Flash Parties for four to eight guests run during shop hours at $85 per guest, and on-location and delivered wig packages are also available for larger or out-of-shop events.
Makeup appointments are offered in several lengths, from a 25-minute lip, lid and lash session to a longer theatrical look, along with one-on-one lessons for individual techniques or a full face. The shop also offers gender-affirming makeup, wardrobe styling and a styling package with a mini photo shoot, plus a monthly trans-femme support circle and a monthly transgender makeup workshop on a sliding scale.
The shop's stated mission centers on giving people room to explore their presentation, and it says it works to dismantle oppressive systems in the beauty industry.
