Haircut bookings are set at a fixed price, and a haircut with a beard service is offered as a combined appointment. Appointments outside regular hours, or in earlier available slots, carry an extra charge of $75.
The studio also teaches haircutting. One-to-one sessions run three to four hours and use either a live model or a mannequin head. Group sessions run for one day and combine a live haircut demonstration, classroom theory and hands-on practice.
The studio is a distributor and representative for Mizutani Scissors in the Seattle area. These scissors are handcrafted in Japan, and the studio describes their craftsmanship as unmatched. Visitors can try a pair during an education class or at a consultation visit with Yoshi.
