The salon opened in September 1995 on the corner of Lady and Gadsden streets and now operates at 804 Lady Street, inside Columbia's historic Congaree Vista district.

Church lights and an antique theater bench greet visitors at the entrance, and the walls display paintings and drawings by local artists along with the owner's own art.

Services are grouped into cut, color and style; hair and scalp treatments; straightening treatments; extensions; and event services. Several services are priced from a starting point, while corrective color and tape-in or sew-in extensions are priced after a consultation, and event services start at $100 and require a phone call to discuss.

Appointments are booked online under Color Services, Hair Services or Miscellaneous. The salon charges a cancellation fee of half or all of the appointment's value for cancellations made without 24 hours' notice. Tips cannot be left on credit card transactions, and the salon accepts cash and checks made out to the stylist.
