Clean Slate Ink operates from a suite in Round Rock and is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and closed on Sundays. The clinic draws clients from Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Hutto, Taylor, Elgin and surrounding communities.
Tattoo removal is the clinic's core service. At a free consultation, the team examines the tattoo, sorts it by size and proposes a treatment plan. Treatment can target one part of a design and leave the rest of the ink alone, lighten an older tattoo so it can be covered, or clear multicolored work. Sessions run from about 1 to 15 minutes depending on size, and the clinic estimates how many treatments a given tattoo will need based on its size, age, colors, placement, ink density and ink type. Most tattoos are said to take 5 to 10 sessions. Possible temporary reactions include redness, itching, swelling, scabbing and blistering, and written aftercare instructions are provided.
Treatments target hair follicles that are in the growth phase, so most clients need 5 to 10 sessions spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart. Clients can pay per session or choose a package, and laser hair removal financing is available through CareCredit.
Laser toenail fungus treatment is offered for onychomycosis. Sessions usually last about 15 minutes and almost always under half an hour. The clinic states there is no downtime and that clients can return to normal activity right after. Course length depends on how many toes are affected and how severe the infection is, and some clients notice improvement within 2 to 3 sessions. Clear nail growth to replace a damaged nail can take 6 to 12 months.
The clinic says it has no forced contracts, no large upfront costs and no hidden fees for hair removal. Packages must be paid in full before treatment starts, and tattoo removal financing is available to spread payments over time. Military members (active and veteran), clients 55 and older, and minors 17 and under with guardian consent receive 15% off each tattoo removal session. A referral discount gives both the referring client and the friend 15% off their next session. Free tattoo removal is offered for gang-related tattoos, human trafficking tattoos and cancer radiation marks.
The clinic uses laser energy that breaks ink into fragments the body can clear over time, starting with the shallowest layer of ink. Hair removal is planned around the growth cycle of each follicle, and toenail treatment uses light rather than heat.
The clinic describes its Round Rock space as free of judgment.
