Services are grouped into add-ons, hair care and under-wig care, locs, men's braids and two strand twists, micro locs, mini twists, natural hair, consultations and treatments. Bookings are made through the salon's Square booking page. The salon is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and is closed on Mondays and Thursdays.
Several services depend on the condition of the hair when the client arrives. Starter locs and braid-down appointments need the hair detangled beforehand or a detangle fee applies. Big chops carry a $35 fee if the hair is matted or the previous style was not taken down, and braid-down and men's box braid services carry a $20 fee if the previous style is still in or the hair is not detangled. Mini twists also carry an added fee when hair is matted or the previous style is not removed first.
Instant Locs need a consultation before booking, a non-refundable deposit at booking with the balance due at the service, and hair at least four to five inches long with no hair added. Mini twists are done in square or free parts only, with no designs. Consultations are $30, and scalp treatment is offered only as an add-on.
According to the salon, each appointment begins with a deep wash using high-end products, so there's no need for clients to shampoo beforehand.
