The studio is run by its owner, who works as the stylist for every appointment. The owner previously ran private studios in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood for 15 years and spent six years as a mobile stylist serving clients across California before choosing to base the practice in Nashville.

The studio sits in a historic building in Hillsboro Village, inside Hairpiece. Services are by appointment only, and bookings are made through the studio's Glossgenius page or by phone. Hours are 10 AM to 6 PM on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 11 AM to 7 PM on Thursday, and the studio is closed Sunday through Tuesday. Cancellations or reschedules are asked to be made at least 48 hours ahead; cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be charged 50% of the service, and no-shows may be charged the full amount.

Core services are in the hair category. A haircut includes a consultation, a shampoo with scalp massage and a blowout. Color work ranges from regrowth and root touch-ups for base color or gray coverage, to dimensional color and low lights, all-over color, highlights, bleach and toning, and corrective color, which is priced hourly and requires a consultation before booking. Root touch-ups with partial, half or full head highlights come with a glossing or hair treatment, and the full-head version includes both. Blowout packages come in series of two, valid for 45 days and non-transferable, and cannot be used on color days. Gift cards are available.

Work is done by appointment with the owner, one client at a time, so each session gets undivided attention.
