Hair services cover cuts, color, highlights, conditioning treatments, and color correction for clients who are unhappy with earlier coloring. Cuts begin with a scalp massage and shampoo, followed by a consultation, the cut, and a blow dry. Hair color and highlights are done with Goldwell products, and conditioning treatments use the PHYTO deep conditioning line for damaged hair and scalp.
The spa menu includes Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, sports, and prenatal massage, with the prenatal work adjusted by therapists trained in that technique. Facial options include a Gold Leaf Facial that uses fine gold leaf, along with microdermabrasion, peels, and waxing. Bachelorette parties and ladies' weekend spa packages are set up as custom bookings, and massage and spa services can be arranged for groups at area hotels.
The salon has worked with The MAYO Hotel since 2010 and offers in-room couples massage there, delivered by two licensed therapists. Event up-dos and in-room services are provided to MAYO guests with no additional out-call charge. Chrysalis also handled hair and make-up for the News On 6 team from 2012 to 2017, and the salon says it has provided the same services for anchors and reporters at KOTV and CW since fall 2012.
Hair services are offered for weddings, reunions, and other events, and can be provided for wedding parties at the client's location. Make-up lessons and consultations run in 30- or 60-minute sessions for individuals or groups, and event make-up and hair are available the same way. Women and men are both welcome, and curbside parking is available nearby.
The salon's stated aim is to offer Tulsa experiences it has not had before. All of its hair services use PHYTO products.
The interior has a subtle, chic look with clean lines and exposed brick walls.
